Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 1, 2026
This policy explains what information QRNotice ("we", "us"), a product by Numbrate, collects when you use qrnotice.numbrate.com, and how we use it.
1. Information we collect
- Account data: your email address and authentication details if you create an account (email/password or Google sign-in). Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never visible to us.
- Notice content: business names, messages, statuses and optional contact details (phone, website) you enter. Notices are public to anyone with the link or QR code.
- License data: if you activate Pro, your Gumroad license key and the purchase email Gumroad returns. Payments are processed by Gumroad; we never see your card details.
- Scan counts: for each notice we store a daily count of views. We do not store IP addresses, device identifiers or locations of people who scan your QR codes.
- Technical logs: our hosting provider processes IP addresses and request metadata to deliver the service, prevent abuse (rate limiting) and diagnose errors. These logs are kept only briefly.
2. How we use information
- To provide, secure and improve the service.
- To show your notices to your customers and your scan statistics to you.
- To verify Pro licenses with Gumroad.
- To check notice content automatically for abusive or illegal material before it is published.
- To respond to support requests and send essential account emails (for example confirmation and password reset).
We do not sell personal information and we do not use advertising trackers.
3. Service providers
- Cloudflare: hosting, content delivery, security and AI-based content moderation (Workers AI).
- Supabase: database and user authentication.
- Google: only if you choose "Continue with Google".
- Gumroad: payments and license keys for Pro.
4. Cookies and local storage
We use your browser's local storage only to keep you signed in. We do not use analytics or advertising cookies.
5. Data retention
- Temporary notices are deleted automatically shortly after they expire.
- Guest management codes are stored only as a one-way hash.
- Account data, notices and scan counts are kept until you delete them or your account.
6. Your rights
You can view, edit and delete your notices at any time. You can delete your entire account from the dashboard (Account → Delete account), which permanently removes your profile, notices and statistics. Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR or CCPA) you may also have rights to access, correct, export or restrict processing of your data. To exercise them, contact numbrate@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
7. Security
All traffic is encrypted with TLS. Database access is restricted to our server, and management codes are hashed. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information with industry-standard measures.
8. Children
QRNotice is a business tool and is not directed to children under 16.
9. International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
10. Changes
We may update this policy. We will change the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify account holders.
